A Transition Of Space (Mind Maps)

A narrow, vertically-arranged plaster relief hangs framed on a white wall. A soft, bright, muted yellow dominates the majority of the sculptural surface, with light pinks and lavenders filling a triangular void in the bottom right. Branch-like crevices move upward and outward, starting in the lower right area of the composition. Two small, organic, irregular shapes of thickly applied gold mica flakes reflect light in the bottom right corner, just outside of the lavender void. Simple shapes of light greens and blues are scattered throughout, in response to the contours and curves of the three-dimensional surface.
